This chapter describes how to use datalogger with GPRS connection (using M2M).

Prerequisities

Let operator want install datalogger ATV-01E with remote control (modem) to the grow house. Valid SIM card with valid GPRS account is received from service provider with GPRS account data:
 • APN: internet
 • no other GPRS data are required.
Let operator received all necessary modem accessories (mainly modem service cable). Internet connection from the computer is expected. Operator received following card with data for M2M settings:
 • Modem M2M address: 1091
 • Modem M2M password: 7Cn24yq8
 • Computer M2M address: 30091
 • Computer M2M password: Tp68es0i
M2M server is standard server in address talkserver.m2msensor.com.

Requirements

Operator want recording in interval 5 min in datalogger but cheking alarms in interval 1 min in the modem. Whenever temperature increase over 30°C alarm have to be triggered. Whenever alarm occures, modem send message to the phone numbers +420123456789 and +420111222333. Modem should accept SMS commands only from phone numbers +420123456789 and +420111222333. Operator want measured place (channel) name as GrowHouse1. Operator want protect unauthorized access to modem by password G3cH141aT. Each Monday at the midnight is required data download (autodownload) and data erasing.
